The expected human chain scheduled for today occurred in one of the popular places for political protests in Dhaka city. The main road from Dhaka University to the National Museum witnessed more than 300 protesters in the form of human chain. The location was important for this event. The museum is close to both Dhaka U and Supreme Court. Employees of GB and activists, local people, and the youth most of whom gathered through facebook were present at the demonstration. The demonstrators in their written statement said "We stand united in solidarity with the Grameen family and Dr. Yunus to show respect in this period of crisis".
